TURNING YOUTUBE  INTO 
A MULTIPLAYER GAME 
To launch League of Legends: Wild RIft in Europe, we had to stop mobile-hating PC gamers from slamming us in the comments section. 
We gave them a juicier target - the biggest bad in League, Baron Nashor. 

W
e turned our launch video into an interactive multiplayer battle, challenging fans to unite and defeat Baron Nashor to launch the game. 

By making our launch their victory, we turned sceptics into supporters. How could they hate a game they launched themselves by slaying a monster? 
BRINGING BARON 
TO LIFE, LIVE. 
To bring Baron to life, we live-rendered him in Unity to react to the YouTube Live Chat stream. By weaponising the YouTube chat function, we allowed fans to come together and fight him as one.
